Veggie Double-Decker Microwave Burger

All-American, easy to prepare, delicious and cruelty-free!

The only vegetarian product you need for this recipe is the vegetarian burger patties (if you don't want to make them yourself - which is pretty easy!

Just Google "vegetarian burger patties" and choose your favorite recipe).

There is a HUGE variety of products (and recipes) to choose from. My two favorite products are: Grillers Original from Morning Star and the patties from Beyond Burger.

I used Grillers Original from Morning Star for this recipe, you can find it at Publix (if you're in Florida), Whole Foods and many other stores, just check out the “Entrees” refrigerator of your preferred grocery store et voila!

Ingredients:

  • Two Grillers Original Veggie Burger Patties

  • Seeded burger buns

  • 1 slice of onion

  • 1 slice of tomato

  • 3 chips of hamburger dill

  • 6 slices of Cheddar cheese (three for each patty)

  • Iceberg Lettuce (a few leaves)

  • Mayo

  • Ketchup

  • Yellow Mustard

  • A hamburger sauce of your preference

Directions:

Microwave the patties for two minutes (one minute for each side), melt the cheese (40 seconds in the microwave will do the trick), spread the mayo on the buns and build the burger (patty, cheese, lettuce, patty, cheese, tomato, onion, dill and sauces).

Enjoy your All-American, cruelty-free burger y'all!
