Dear (((EveryBit))) Readers,
October is here ALREADY! 2020 is going by fast (which is kind of a good thing, right?).
I love celebrating Halloween (horror writer alert!); the scary movies, the decorations, and the candies (of course) make this celebration unique. I am obsessed with scary stories and movies, I like consuming audiovisual products that make me feel something (good or bad, as long as it touches me somehow, I’m down!), but I’m pretty sure no horror movie is as scary as the true facts about meat consumption, now these facts are going to scare you for real!
In this issue, I’m sharing 10 scary facts about the consumption of meat that will scare the hell out of you. To make your Halloween even sweeter, I am sharing a “Bloody Cups” recipe, which in addition to being vegan, is also gluten-free. This recipe requires only 3 ingredients and it is extremely easy, which makes it the ideal last-minute recipe. Enjoy!

Recipe: “Halloween Bloody Cups” – The scary cousin of the traditional peanut butter cup. Easy recipe, only 3 ingredients, sweet, bloody, PERFECT.
Time to get your favorite scary movie on and enjoy these bloody, delicious, and sweet little devils!
Ingredients:
1 cup of frozen raspberries.
1 tablespoon of rice syrup; or maple syrup; or agave syrup.
1 cup + ¾ cup of (150 gram + 100 grams) vegan baking chocolate (or vegan chocolate chips)
Directions
1- Heat the frozen raspberries in a small pot on medium-high heat until soft, mash the raspberries until there are no large chunks anymore & add the rice syrup. Give it a mix and set aside to cool.
2- In a double boiler, melt 1 cup of the chocolate. Meanwhile place 8 muffin liners in a muffin pan.
3- Place about 1 1/2 teaspoon of melted chocolate in the muffin liners and tilt them, so the chocolate spreads to the sides. Repeat for all the muffin liners and place it into the fridge for a few minutes (until the chocolate hardens).
4- Melt 3/4 cup of vegan chocolate in the double boiler. Meanwhile add about a teaspoon of the raspberry filling into the chocolate coated muffin liners (place it in the middle). Once the chocolate has melted, pour it over the raspberry filling. Tilt it a bit so the top is covered with the chocolate completely. Let it harden in the fridge for about 5 minutes.
5- Once the chocolate is hard, carefully remove the cupcake liners and enjoy.
