Thanks to technology now it is possible to become an activist and help the world become a better place!
There are animals suffering, being tortured and tested in labs as you read this column.
People are being killed because of racism or discrimination, the police killed more than 100 unarmed black people in 2015, and there is a long list of people who were killed simply because they were transgender, we are facing dark times, it’s 2020 yet the black and LGBTQ communities still face violent crimes against them.
Movements like Black Lives Matter give me hope, but I want to do more than just being hopeful, I want to actually help, what if I told you, you can help stop all this nonsense suffering? I’m talking about online petitions.
You can download apps from organizations that will offer you a variety of causes, you can choose which causes matter to you and use your smart phone to sign and share such petitions! That means you can change the world by dedicating only a few minutes of your day to signing online petitions from the comfort of your home!
